TN Can't Make Up Its Mind, Arrests Woman But Calls Her A Man

I don't usually post stories involving transgender people but this one is so full of fail and is blood boiling worthy.

Andrea Jones had reassignment surgery and is recognized as a woman by the Social Security Administration.  She, as a resident of Tennessee, went to get her license changed.

Tennessee refused and recognizes her as a man.

So she went outside into the lot and took off her shirt.  Which, for a man, is perfectly legal to do.

So she was arrested for indecent exposure.

Here's the part that will make your blood boil:  On the police report, they list her AS A MAN.  Rightly she is pissed:

“If I was a male, I had the right to, when I stepped out the door, take off my shirt. It’s not right for the state to ask me to be both male and female. A choice needs to be made. They cannot hold me to both standards.”
